“The Society of St. James supports people facing multiple disadvantages who experience a combination of problems such as homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues and offending behaviour. These problems are shaped by long-term experiences of poverty, deprivation, trauma, abuse, and neglect.
SSJ provides a comprehensive range of services, including hostels, transitional housing, substance misuse services and an academy of life skills classes, volunteering, sport and craft opportunities.
By successfully implementing these services, the organisation challenges the stigma associated with homelessness, provides support and rehabilitation, and promotes sustainable solutions to reduce the number of individuals experiencing homelessness”.
Ocean Village Innovation Centre will provide a collecting point for Easter Eggs again this year.
